Rebecca Pearson earns membership in 30+ Club

Rebecca Pearson has earned membership in the prestigious Haywood High School 30+ Club by scoring a 31 on her ACT exam. A senior, she is the daughter of Denise and John Pearson. Rebecca is a member of the HHS Show Choir, the Junior Bank Board, French Club, Bible Club, Beta Club and attended Volunteer Girls State where she was chosen to be a member of the VGS chorus.

Rebecca has been a student at the Kincaid-Gooch Voice Studio for 10 years, and is a member of First Presbyterian Church where she is a member of the choir and the Wednesday night Praise Band. She is a pianist and likes to paint. She plans to attend college and study to be a speech therapist.

Other members of this HHS elite academic 30+ Club are 2012 graduates Reeves Garrett, Taylor Primrose, Seth Tillman, Kaitlyn Schwarz, Madison Eubanks, Daniel Evans and Kaylee Avant and senior Molly McAdams. The club was organized in the 2009-2010 school year with Anna Baumheckel and Rebecca’s brother, Andrew Pearson, as the charter members. Other members are Audrey Pattat, Alex Primrose, Nathan Peace and Breanne Sills, all of whom graduated in 2010 and 2011.
