Haywood County Schools are celebrating bus drivers in September and thanking them for their service to the school system and the children. At the central office, Superintendent Teresa Russell, Board Chairman Harold Garrett, Art Garrett, Kenneth Emerson, Debi Clagg, Kathy Black and Rosemary Moss gathered early on September 13 to give ham biscuits and juice to the drivers. “We are so grateful for what they do for our students,” Mrs. Russell said.
