The Petting Zoo Visits Anderson
There were giggles, squeals, screams and animal sounds as children lined up for their chance to ride, pet, feed and hug the animals at the petting zoo.
Children of Anderson came to school excited and some even wearing their best on the farm outfits as the minute hands moved slowly in anticipation of the afternoon treat.
Not only were they allowed to take a turn on a pony but they could get cups of food and hand feed the rabbits, goats, lamas, chickens, geese and more!
This was a wonderful opportunity to teach the children about the safety measures while around animals as well as the various traits of the animals.
