East Side Veteran’s Day Program

Mrs Winter’s music class worked hard preparing for the Veteran’s Day Program.

After the greeting by principal Tressy Halbrook, the Haywood High School ROTC Color Guard entered the room with impressive military demeanor. 

The National Anthem was performed by the show choir followed by You’re A Grand Old Flag and Arlington by the 4th grade and American Medley, again by the show choir.

A special message was delivered by Lt Col TN Army National Guard, Michael Banks.  

Devon Butner sang Amazing Grace and the 5th grade sang America and A Tribute to the Armed Services.  

Officer Derek Jackson SRO concluded the ceremony with a speech of gratitude and appreciation to all Veterans.
