On Sunday, May 23, at L.Z. Hurley Memorial Field, Haywood Middle School officially promoted 234 eighth-graders. The promotion ceremony was under the direction of Superintendent Joey Hassell and Principal Michelle Tillman. In an online statement, Superintendent Hassell said he “looks forward to the progression and success of the class of 2025 over the next four years.”
