The HMS Warrior Football team concluded their season on October 16. The Warriors finished with an 8-2 record and in the Final Four of the large school sectional play-offs. The entire team accomplished so much throughout the season. Dexter Walker, Corey Newble, Montavius “Peanut” Pugh, and Russ Cates were chosen as All-Conference players. As well as being selected for this award, Dexter Walker was chosen as Defensive MVP for the conference. Corey Newble was the top quarterback and Montavius Pugh was the top receiver in the conference. These athletes, as well as the entire team and coaches, express appreciation for all the support they received during the season. Coaches are Ernie Jackson and Greg Bontrager.
