HES celebrates National Breakfast Week
In celebration of National Breakfast Week, the school Food Services staff at Haywood Elementary hosted several events. One event involved guessing how much cereal was in a jar, another was a poster contest. The Theme for the Poster contest was “Go For The Gold, Let’s Get Moving!” Mrs. Lovelace’s first-grade class and Mrs. Millspaugh’s second-grade class won breakfast in their classroom on Friday morning. Mrs. Palmer’s and Mrs. Philpot’s classes won a Pizza party in their rooms for lunch, and Ms. Miller’s second-grade class enjoyed Pizza for lunch as well. Congratulations to Reid, Sinaia, and Raven for their winning posters
