Kindergarten students enjoy first Pep Rally
Kindergarten students had fun at their very first academic awards pep rally this Friday to celebrate the end of a great first six weeks of school. Anderson’s mascot “Amandy” (who is a cross between Miss Amanda from P.E. and Anderson’s mascot, “Andy.” Students received awards for good reading, writing, math, citizenship, conduct, attendance, and great effort. The Rotary Club gives a bicycle each six weeks to a lucky student who is chosen from the Principal’s Club nominees. The Brownsville Police Department gives the student a super cool helmet and safety gear set to go with his or her new bike! What a great way to reward hard work and good behavior!
