Students at HES celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in morning meeting on Friday morning. A first grader quoted a sentence from Dr. King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Students in Mrs. Cindy Currie’s and Mr. Brian Massey’s classes sang “We Shall Overcome” with Mrs. Cheryl McDaniel and then “Martin Luther King.”  The entire student body joined in for “This Little Light of Mine.” Mrs. Riddle shared information with the students about Dr. King’s life as well.
