Members of PEP were present at HES awards programs on November 1 to bring a treat to three lucky teachers.

PEP (Parents and Educators for Progress in Haywood County) is a group that was started by a group of proud Brownsvillians to recognize the many positive things that are occurring in Haywood County.

The group is active and made a presentation of a gift card and “favorite Sonic drink” to teachers Amanda Stanley, Vivian Miller and Susan Evans. A few weeks ago, a PEP rally was held at College Hill and members shared lots of information concerning the Common Core and education in Haywood County.
