Among those assisting voters in the recent national election were members of the Haywood High School Chapter of The National Beta Club. Acting on the club’s motto, “Let us lead by serving others,” various Beta Club members attend training sessions and spend election days helping at the polling stations. The Beta Club encourages high academic standards as well as service to school and community.
