Children Learn That “The Dot” Encourages Creativity
On Tuesday, September 15, students all around the world celebrated International Dot Day in honor of Peter H. Reynold’s book – “The Dot.” This book tells of a little girl who thought she had no creativity, but with the help of a teacher, realizes that she is far more creative than she could have possibly imagined. She, in turn, encourages someone else to be creative. East Side gave every student an opportunity to share their creativity with the rest of the world as Assistant Principal, Ms. Mandy Bell, read “The Dot” to the student body.
