Culinary Arts Students Learn From Job Shadowing
These culinary arts II and III students job shadowed the week of March 14-18 and April 4-8. Pablo Marin shadowed at McDonald’s, Kamya Burrell at the Dairy Queen, and Kendra Currie at Backyard Barbecue. Job shadowing allows students the opportunity to explore jobs within the food service industry and to have a hand-on experience. “We appreciate the businesses that allow our students to work with them on this project,” culinary arts teacher Vickie Noles said. The culinary arts department is in the Career and Technical Division of Haywood High School.
