Dear Sir or Madam:

Another successful year at East Side Elementary is coming to a close.  It is my pleasure to extend to you and your family an invitation to attend the 5th grade upcoming D.A.R.E graduation.  The graduation will be held on Thursday, May 12 in the East Side auditorium, and will begin promptly at 9 a.m.  There will be one essay winner from each class.  Student essays must be submitted to me no later than May 2.  Please encourage your child to participate in the essay contest. The students have worked hard and are looking forward to the festivities.  Immediately following the ceremony there will be a reception in the cafeteria.  If there are any questions about the graduation, feel free to give us a call.
