Freshmen GEAR UP students were able to explore the different types of academic majors offered by the University of Memphis at Lambuth while taking a tour of the campus on January 30. The college tour, for 101 students, a parent, and other chaperones, also provided information on the history of the college, financial aid, and dining options. The visit allowed students to get a glimpse of college life when they toured the Carney-Johnson Residence Hall and saw a dorm. Students viewed a science show on black holes at the M.D. Anderson Planetarium on the campus during their tour. They ended the tour with a lunch provided by Haywood County GEAR UP.
