Haywood Elementary Principal Anna Roberts brought five of her students to the Haywood County School Board meeting on February 9 to share with Superintendent Russell, board members and guests some of their “Acts of Kindness” moments. According to the students, the school-wide initiative that has students finding opportunities to be nice to others, “makes us feel good and makes the school a better place.” Everyone enjoyed hearing from the students and commented on how well they spoke about their project.
