Health Science students to help with school health screenings
Haywood County Schools will employ the services of HHS Career and Tech students to help with health screenings at another school. Cindy Smith, Haywood Schools Health Coordinator, and Gail Steele, school nurse, came to Health Science teacher Julie Taylor’s classroom recently to perform an in-service for the students on the equipment and forms they will be using for health screenings at Haywood Elementary on September 26, 27, 28. Nursing education class students are Thaddeus Matthews, Dundre Jarrett, Maggie Herron, Allix Lonon, Jennifer Hampton, Erin Dennis, Catrecia Bell, Katie Lewis, Diamond Jackson, LaDawn Ammons, and Brandy Jones.
