In celebration of National Breakfast Week, the school Food Services staff at Haywood Elementary hosted several events. One event involved guessing how much cereal was in a jar, another was a poster contest. The Theme for the Poster contest was “Go For The Gold, Let’s Get Moving!” Mrs. Lovelace’s first-grade class and Mrs. Millspaugh’s second-grade class won breakfast in their classroom on Friday morning. Mrs. Palmer’s and Mrs. Philpot’s classes won a Pizza party in their rooms for lunch, and Ms. Miller’s second-grade class enjoyed Pizza for lunch as well.
