On Friday, November 10, Haywood Elementary School students, under the direction of music teacher Patricia Gaietto (pictured right, below), presented a musical program that honored all Veterans. Among the patriotic songs they sang were “The Star Spangled Banner,” “America the Beautiful,” “America,” “When the Flag Goes By,” and “God Bless the U.S.A.”

A number of the students have Veterans in their families, and some of them attended to be recognized and appreciated.
