The NFL Tennessee Titans held a learning lab at LP Field on October 15, and 35 Haywood High DECA students attended the Sports Marketing training. Students learned about all that goes on behind the scenes to make a great game day experience, from sports announcing, ticket sales, team travel accommodations, media, mascot duties, grass/field maintenance, security to concessions and more.

DECA is an organization for high school business/marketing students. Sponsors for the DECA organization at HHS are Julie Davis and Phillip Warwick. The business classes are part of the Career and Tech Division at Haywood High.
