HHS Mock Trial team places second
The Haywood High School Mock Trial Team competed in the District Mock Trial Competition in Jackson on Saturday, February 2. The competition is sponsored by the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division and consists of study, preparation, and performance of both defense and prosecution cases for an imaginary criminal case. The team won second place. Team members were: Dannon Eubanks, Ricarnicia Johnson, Lauren Markowski, Will Clinton, Walker Thornton, Amanda Lopez, J. P. Barden, Emily Pugh, Kyle Sills, Victoria Ramirez, Quinton Douglas, Bishop Noble, Molly Mcadams, Christian Hooser, and Audrey Davis. The team was coached by Suzanna Martinez and Judge Lyle Reid.
