HHS nursing students participate in activities
Members of the Haywood High School nursing class, under the direction of Julie Taylor, recently participated in the Haywood Elementary Career Day, talking to the young students about a career in nursing. The Career and Technical student organization for the nursing students, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), elected officers earlier in the school year, and they were inducted in September. They rode in the HHS Homecoming Parade on October 15. Officers are Cory Jackson, president; Shaterica Chapman, reports; Larry Turner, treasurer; Brittany Tidwell, secretary; Lindsey Yoder, vice president; and Robin Brooks, historian.
