The Haywood High School Tomcats ended their powerful season this year on a high note, bringing home a title and lots of pride.

Their final record was 24-9 overall and 15-3 in the district. They won the 13-AA District Championship and advanced to 7-AA Regional Semifinals. “I am proud of the effort and sacrifice my team showed this year,” Coach Kendall Dancy said. “I am especially excited for my seniors. They were a major part of helping our program achieve consecutive 20-plus win seasons. Seeing them leave as champions is our greatest achievement as a program and a family.”
