HHS’s Adara Donald Meets With Tennessee Senator Dolores Gresham
From February 6-9, Haywood High School’s Adara Donald attended a Youth Government Citizenship seminar, along with the State Officers from the seven Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs): FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), SkillsUSA, HOSA (Health Occupations Student Association), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), DECA, FFA (Future Farmers of America), and TSA (Technology Student Association). Adara serves as the Tennessee FCCLA Vice President of Individual Development. At this seminar, State officers for CTSOs learn advocacy skills that they took to the field when they met with their legislators on February 9. Adara met Senator Dolores Gresham and advocated for Career and Technical Education and Career and Technical Student Organizations.
