HMS holds Warrior Basketball Homecoming
The Haywood Middle School recently held its Warrior Basketball Homecoming, and Tyesha Starks was crowned Homecoming Queen. Pictured are Diamond Powell, second maid; Alexia Owens, runner-up; Queen Tyesha; Kendra Benton, first maid; Jamaya Douglas, third maid; and Kerrington Doyle, fourth maid.
Chosen as class representatives were Carlisle Clagg, Seventh-Grade Representative; Chassity Hill, Sixth-Grade Representative; and Bonnie Colbeck Eighth-Grade Representative.
The HMS Warriors played the Ripley Tigers. The girls and the boys won. Since Homecoming, both teams won the Conference Championships.
