HMS students learn about “Right Choices”

Each nine weeks, students in physical education classes at Haywood Middle School have a one-week course teaching them how to make the “Right Choices” in order to avoid really bad, life-altering consequences. Right Choices is an organization from Dyersburg that comes to HMS to educate our seventh- and eighth-grade students.

“The classes are very well done, and students seem to be very focused and attentive, said “Coordinated School Health Director Cindy Smith. “We partner with Right Choices to bring this program to our students. We are thankful that they are willing to approach very difficult topics that young people want and need to learn about, in a very appropriate manner.”
