HMS students learn about “Right Choices”

Each nine-week period, students at HMS participate in a class that advocates making healthy choices. “Right Choices” is a company in Dyersburg that educates middle and high school students about making healthy choices for life. All seventh- and eighth-grade students participate unless they opt-out, a choice that is sent home by letter before the classes begin. Presenters Clay Elliott and Tamara Roach teach a very informed, factual approach to making smart, healthy choices in order to avoid the many pressures and pitfalls that entice young adults this day and time
