HOSA Students To Celebrate Health Education Week
The third week of October is Health Education week, and HOSA students Emma Baumheckel and Marlene Negrete enlightened Brownsville and Haywood County radio listeners about the Health Sciences classes and the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) program at HHS. Julie Taylor, Health Sciences teacher, has partnered with Coordinated School Health to provide many services for the students of our school system and the citizens of Brownsville/Haywood County. “The students in this program take their work very seriously, and we will be the recipients of excellent health care in the future,” said Coordinated School Health Director Cindy Smith.
