Kid College to help students
Haywood Elementary School is excited and proud to announce the addition of “Kids College” to the list of technological resources available to its students both at home and at school. Kids College is an online Math, Literacy and Science skills practice and intervention program. Students can access the program with their own special login code on any computer in the school. There is also a link from the HES homepage so the program is available at home as well. This program allows students to work at their own pace as they strengthen their skills based on the new Tennessee state standards. Students earn points for each question they answer correctly. These points accumulate and are then traded in for time on their choice of sport games included with the program. Ms. Jan Patterson visited the school to answer questions and assist teachers in working with this exciting new program.
