Students study forest animals
Kindergarten students in Miss Krista Brown’s class at Anderson have been studying forest animals that live in Tennessee. They went to Miss Jan’s library and each child got a puppet of an animal that lives in our forests. They then got all the skulls in the Biology in a Box kit and found all the ones that live in Tennessee forests. They learned which ones are herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores. Following that, Miss Brown found books about many of the animals for them to read. What a fun way to learn!!
