Family and friends, students, faculty, staff and administrators enjoyed a day with students who participated in Discovery Day at Haywood Elementary on January 17. Some served as tour guides, others talked to the visitors about the Leader in Me program and the skills they learn in the program. Other students spoke to the student body and guests about the program and the 7 Habit of Highly Effective People. They held a question and answer session and the school’s Show Choir performed. Everyone said the students were a big hit and did a great job planning and presenting the program.
