Elliot Garrett, a senior and the son of Art and Laurel Garrett, recently earned membership into the prestigious Haywood High School 30+ Club by scoring a 30 on the ACT test.

Elliot is a member of the tennis team, All-District team 2015 and 2016; the golf team; Show Choir; a lead in the three HHS musicals, Annie, Footloose, and The Sound of Music; a member of the Academic Decathlon team; DECA; a 2016 Boys State delegate; a 2016 Rotary Youth Leadership award recipient; and is the Beta Club President.

He is a member of Brownsville Baptist Church and plans to attend college at Union University and major in Biblical Studies, possibly a minor in English, History or Spanish.
