Mr. Grover Harwell is currently serving at Haywood Middle School as a seventh-grade science teacher. Mr. Harwell has six years of teaching experience in Haywood County Schools. Mr. Harwell has served on the Superintendent Instructional Leadership Council, the new teacher mentor team, and as co-chair for the SACS Accreditation team. Mr. Harwell has successfully coached the boys Haywood Middle School team for seven years. He said, “I have a three-fold purpose of education: to empower, encourage and evolve students in their learning. We have to see way beyond where the students are and see where they can be.”
